Easyboot Originals are my FAVOURITE
I’ve ridden over 5000 miles /8000 kms in the last 2 years with my trusty Morgan mare Roxy, mostly on pavement and hard ground, mostly very far away from home.
I know what I like and what I need.

I want to thank everyone I came into contact with during the 5000 miles of hope solo horse ride from Canada to Guatemala.
The #1 horse issue I saw while travelling thru Canada, USA, Mexico and Guatemala was OVERRUN HOOVES, EITHER SHOD OR BAREFOOT.
We are riding a 5000 mile unassisted solo horse ríde. We ride 15-30 miles a day, 20 days a month, in areas I’ve ever never been before. We occasionally get resupplies along the way. Our 850 lb horse carries rider and load totalling 245lbs-255lbs with full winter load.
…Thoughts on the grips and edges. After riding 3 week on the grips on pavement, dirt and gravel, I would say they are better on the last two surfaces, but not on pavement. I got 350 miles out of them.
I don’t know how many of you ride your horses barefoot. Since I got horses almost 4 years ago, mine have always been unshod. I invested in hoof boots to use occasionally but for the most part, I rode both of them barefoot. As the mileage went up in training pre trip then during this trip, I began using easyboots most of the time.
We are proud to announce our new trip sponsors.
Our sponsors have products that help us with the stresses of travelling 15-30 miles a day by horse, day in day out.
Roxy has never been shod. She uses Easyboot Gloves. I love them, she loves them, it gives us the freedom for her to be barefoot every night during our 5000 mile solo horse ride
