Once I crossed from Doctor Arroyo towards Matehuala I was now in San Luis Potosi. I travelled thru this state for 2 weeks before entering Queretaro. I travelled in Queretaro for another 2 weeks before entering Hidalgo at El Geiser. We rode 340 miles in in 25 days. 18 days of riding. My leg was pretty much back to normal by Rio Verde.
I had been staying at the Charreria Guajuco Traconsa for a few days since I had crossed the border. I had had an accident at the border where a horse kicked me in my calf so I needed some time off. Day by day the pain lessened so on Friday I finally left.
We left Alvaton on December 26th and quickly entered the cold. We had just taken a week off after blazing thru Kentucky. We were waiting for packages and a sick Roxy to get better. The respiratory infection was addressed quickly and effectively with the excellent help of a great vet Michael Davison.
We entered West Virginia on Nov 9, via the rail trail from Point Marion. Before that, we got stopped in the middle of nowhere by some strange looking people in a crappy looking old T-bird…
We took our extra days off at the 500 mile 2 weeks ago. On Oct 23 we left from Odin in northern Pennsylvania.
We left perth on Sunday sept the 15.
I stayed at my friend corals house and got to hang out with her and her partner Eric and two children for 3 days.
